Ricky Coburn is an entrepreneur, writer and designer. He is most noted for his contributions to the textile industry, having been a pioneer in sourcing and supplying recycled vintage textiles to buyers both on a domestic and international level. Under the pen name Milo, Coburn has developed information blogs, business plans and operations manuals for those already working, and those entering, the recycled clothing industry.

Coburn enjoys spending time in his organic gardens and teaching others how to grow their own food. He is responsible for a number of publications, design plans and information websites geared towards urban food production, nutrition and cultural integration. As an avid surfer and sailor Coburn has spent most of his life in beach communities throughout Southern California and Cost Rica.

Today Ricky lives in Ocean Beach, a small beach town in San Diego, California. He works as a business consultant and online marketing specialist for startup companies. He enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and continues to educate others on how to live and run a sustainable lifestyle and business.

“I have always loved writing even though grammar and spelling have never been my strong points. I kind of have to agree with Mark Twain when he said that feels bad for a man who is so limited that he can only spell a word one way.”
